Dr Diarra is the Medical Director of Forestville Veterinary and Bird Hospital. He attended Kharkov Zoo- veterinary Institute in Ukraine (1985). His educational journey brought him to the University of Maryland (College Park) where he studied Reproductive physiology and endocrinology. He was an associate veterinarian at Lynn Animal Hospital in College Park for 2 years and VCA Lewis Animal Hospital and VCA Bowie Animal Hospital for seven years. Diarra was medical Director At VCA Bowie Animal Hospital before opening Forestville Veterinary and Bird Hospital.
Dr Diarra enjoys working closely with clients and takes great pride in educating them successfully manage their pets’ needs. He stays interested in internal medicine, as well as exotic and avian medicine and surgery.
Dr Diarra is member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, DC Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Association of Avian Veterinarians and Association of Exotic mammal Veterinarians.

Dr Diarra is married with 3 children and enjoys reading, chess and soccer. They have a mixed lab named “Scooter”.
